The 2nd Annual India International Coffee Festival was held in Bangalore, India from
the 23rd to the 25th of February 2007.
The show was a huge success and saw a big local and international audience. It was interesting
to see that the awareness and enthusiasm on Indian coffees has grown exponentially in the last 5 years.
Karnataka Plantation Coffee Inc. shared a booth with our parent company (Institute for Micronutrient Technology)
which is focused on helping the growers grow their coffees better: qualitatively, quantitatively and environmentally.
Interest in our novel concept of growing the coffee attracted a lot of attention as well as
the coffees themselves. We were happy to interact with the coffee roasters and key coffee aficionados from Australia,
China, U.S., Middle East, New Zealand and Sweden among others.
